Kirklees Model Boat Club promote the hobby of model building and sailing, we meet as a club every Sunday Morning on the Park Lake, Wilton Park, Bradford Road, Birstall, Batley. West Yorkshire. The area is a public park, whereby members of the public can also sail any-time they wish. We meet about 8am in the morning on Sundays and about 1pm on Wednesdays.
You will see us there all year round come rain or shine. Members have been known to 'break the ice' during winter in order to sail. Always a warm drink available every Sunday Morning. We also have a Lock up container which houses all the club equipment and rescue boats
To find us, from the M62 Junction 27, follow the signs for A62 Huddersfield, to the junction with Bradford Road, about 1 mile, turn left at the traffic lights following the sign for Dewsbury, approximately 1 mile from the traffic lights, on the left is Wilton Park, Bradford Road, Batley.
